The CASME National Science Week programme was run at Msinga, Pinetown, Ndwedwe, Umzumbe and Pietermaritzburg.

The programme focused on astronomy with learners spending time presenting on their own research into the subject. Learners also got to work in groups to build various models to help them get a better understanding of astronomy. Each group then presented their project.

At Msinga we were fortunate to have Prof Albert Modi who addressed learners on the importance of science in their lives and particuarly aspects of indigenous science.
