Learners built models of our Solar System

National Science Week ran from 3 to 7 August this year. CASME hosted activities for 1250 learners from 25 schools in the province at 5 sites.
 
 
 
Dinaledi Spring School - Exam Preparation
 
From 12 to 14 September 2008, CASME and the KZN Department of Education's MST&ICT Directorate hosted 240 Mathematics, Physical Science and Life Sciences educators for a weekend spring exam preparation school.
 
Zenex Foundation Izibalo Project - Ugu District
 
2008 has seen the formal startup of a three-year project in the Umzumbe Circuit (Ugu District) in KwaZulu-Natal. The project has been dubbed the Izibalo Project.
