Milestone moment1,000 experiments · 10 years of impact
Science becomes real when learners can see it, test it and do it.
Science2Go has completed its 1,000th practical science experiment at KwaSanti Secondary School in KwaZulu-Natal. The milestone celebrates a decade of widening access to engaging, hands-on science while building teachers’ practical classroom capability.

A decade in motion
Ten years of practical science, curiosity and possibility.
Launched in 2015, Science2Go takes practical equipment and guided experiments into schools where laboratory access is limited. Teacher development is central to the model, helping practical learning continue long after each visit.
“Reaching 1,000 experiments shows what sustained cooperation can achieve.”Jürgen Wolf · MAHLE South Africa

Building foundations for future careers
Stronger science and mathematics learning helps open pathways into engineering, manufacturing and technology.

Taking practical science further
CASME and MAHLE are inviting more partners to help extend practical learning to additional schools and communities.
The people behind the milestone
Partnership made this progress possible.
Science2Go brings together education, industry and programme leadership around one shared goal: placing meaningful practical science experiences in more learners’ hands.

About CASME
Advancing STEM. Expanding possibility.
The Centre for the Advancement of Science and Mathematics Education strengthens teaching and learning in science, mathematics, coding and robotics. Through educator development, practical resources, research and innovation, CASME helps create richer learning experiences for schools and communities.
We have benefited a lot from CASME and my learners are now able to perform natural science experiments with the material that arrived with the CASME team because we have absolutely nothing at our school let alone a science lab and learners have never been exposed to laboratory materials. I would recommend CASME to other school that need the same assistance that I received because there are so many other schools like ours.
